| Job Duties: | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Assist in the design and performance or clinical studies under the supervision of the PI. Coordinate daily activities for health services, clinical studies, and outcomes research projects including overseeing IRB requirements, corresponding with different agencies, and preparing progress reports. Manage large datasets and perform a high level statistical analysis (knowledge of SAS/STATA required). Responsible for writing publications, grants and other scientific reports. Special projects as assigned. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Job Qualifications: | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Minimum of 2 year experience with clinical research performing Duties and Tasks as described in the job duties section. Ability to perform work on projects independently, accurately and using sound statistical judgment. Knowledge of research design, protocol development, statistical theory and methodology. Ability to organize raw data into a comprehensible form. Ability to create and maintain records accurately. Ability to generate text, figures, and tables suitable for publication in peer-reviewed journals and/or presentation at scientific conferences. Skill in writing concise, logical and grammatically correct, business correspondence and scientific publications. Skill in reading and interpreting documents written in standard English text. Ability to effectively interact with faculty, staff, research personnel, and postdoctoral fellows and students. Ability to be confidential and discrete and to handle sensitive administrative matters. Demonstrated Executive Secretarial skills. Ability to put together, coordinate and run scientific meetings. Demonstrated skills with the utilization of both Macintosh and PC based programs, including Windows, Microsoft Word, E-mail, PowerPoint, Excel and Palm Pilot scheduling software. Ability to coordinate complex diverse tasks and information flows with patients and University staff. Ability to establish priorities which reflect the importance of the task and the ability to work independently and following through on assignments with minimal supervision. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship and to work as a part of an administrative team. |
